Update - June 2011

A highly competitive weekend in GT Cup at Brands Hatch on the fabulous Grand Prix circuit. Second on the grid, just 0.3 behind the pole position of the yellow TVR. And then taking the win after a hard-fought battle in challenging conditions. See the full report and photos here.

Update - April 2011

The GTR is back this year for selected rounds of the GT Cup championship. A new race team is now looking after the car - West Suffolk Racing. This is a team with many years race experience and pedigree. Previously running cars in the BTCC, Britcar and Dutch Supercar Championship.

Although we suffered a rare gearbox shaft failure for the first round of the championship at Silverstone in mid-April, the weekend was a very productive one and the new team and car are getting on very well.

The next race weekend is June 4th & 5th at Brands Hatch.

Update - February 13th 2009

The GTR is having some tweaking including an engine refresh over the winter. Serverware Racing hopes to race the GTR primarily within the GT Cup championship, which now has a new GT3-based Class 1. Class 1 will consist of cars such as Lamborghini, Aston Martin DBRS9,  Dodge Viper, Ferrari 430 GT3, Ford GT40 and Class 2...Porsche 997 GT3, Ferrari 430 GTC, Lotus Supercharged, BMW M3 (non V8).

Britcar now has a new Class 1 and Class 2 structure, which means the GTR can now compete on a more level playing field in Class 2.
